Donations for Cassie Kohl, stylist at DoNice Hair

 Friday, May 29^th, Cassie Kohl, a talented stylist from DoNice Hair underwent major brain surgery. Thankfully, although this was a risky procedure, the surgery was successful. Cassie, who began working at DoNice Hair in January of this year, is a single mother of 3 children and a very hardworking individual. She had just begun to get her feet wet at DoNice Hair and build her clientele. Because of her surgery, she will be out of work for 6 weeks without income. We are asking those of you in the community to please stop by the salon and donate money to this cause, if possible. Any amount would be greatly appreciated by Cassie and her family.

Ecology Action Center Survey

     Help end our dependence on landfills! The Ecology Action Center is conducting this survey to assess behaviors and attitudes towards recycling in the community. It is brief and should take no more than a few minutes to complete. The information is will be used to evaluate how to improve recycling rates and to decrease the amount of garbage going to landfills. The deadline for completing the survey is April 23, 2009.  The Ecology Action Center thanks you for your assistance!
