Counselors In Training Program

Counselors in Training (CIT) for students entering grades 8-9 work alongside Day Camp staff and leadership to learn the basics of becoming a Day Camp Counselor. Participants assist camp counselors with camper groups and help plan/lead activities while learning about safety, risk management, creativity and organization.

This program provides hands-on experiences designed to teach teens the skills, attributes and strategies important to being exemplary leaders and camp counselors. Leadership learned at day camps carry over to school, home, community and future employment.
