Waste Collection Map
Waste services are provided weekly, with each residence assigned a particular day of the week. To learn when waste is collected in your neighborhood, View the interactive Public Services map below to determine waste pickup days or download the waste collection map.
Garbage and Recycling IS collected on holidays
Household garbage and recycling is collected on all holidays, except Christmas. When Christmas falls on a weekday, garbage and recycling normally collected that day will be collected on the next regular business day.
Brush, Landscape and Bulky Waste NOT picked up on holidays
The Town of Normal does not pick up brush, landscape waste and bulky on the following holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
- Memorial Day
- 4th of July
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Friday after Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day,
- Any floating Town holidays
- As time allows, the Town may collect brush, landscape waste and bulky waste later during the week. However, it will generally occur the following week on your regular garbage collection day.
