Sweet Corn Blues Festival

Over 50,000 ears of fresh sweet corn, sidewalk sales, arts, crafts, and flea market vendors await you on the streets of Uptown! Come out and enjoy the fun, food and some of the best blues music around. The festival is held over two days in late August and is a great way to welcome back the students at Illinois State University.

Sweet Corn Blues Festival 2018 will take place Saturday, August 25 from 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday, August 26 from 11 am to 4 pm  on North St. from Fell to the Circle and E. Beaufort St. from the Circle to Linden St.  We’ll keep the celebration going until we run out of corn!

Rules and details about Sunday’s Sweet Corn Eating Contest coming soon. Register the weekend of the festival at the Uptown Normal booth.

Uncooked corn can be purchased by the dozen at the drive up area located just south of the corner of College Ave. and Broadway Ave. Cost is $4/doz.
