Sweet Corn Blues Festival
Over 50,000 ears of fresh sweet corn, sidewalk sales, arts, crafts, and flea market vendors await you on the streets of Uptown! Come out and enjoy the fun, food and some of the best blues music around. The festival is held over two days in late August and is a great way to welcome back the students at Illinois State University.
Sweet Corn Blues Festival 2017 will take place Saturday, August 26th from 10:00am to 5pm and Sunday, August 27th from 11am to 4pm (or when the corn runs out) on North St. from Fell to the Circle and E. Beaufort St. from the Circle to Linden St.
Due to high demand and a lack of space we will be limiting the SCBF to 8 nonprofit booths in 2017. These booths will be granted via a lottery system. Nonprofits must have their applications submitted by July 24th 2017 to be considered. Vendors granted a space will be notified via email that week if they have been awarded a space.
Sponsorship booths are available for vendors offering services or quotes. Contact [email protected] for details.
Rules and details about Sunday’s Sweet Corn Eating Contest available here. Register the weekend of the festival at the Uptown Normal booth.
